This September, the duo will be releasing “Both Sides of the Glass: Paired Cocktails and Mocktails to Toast Any Taste”. The book comes out of the desire for the couple to share both the tasty, alcoholic libations and not miss out on any of those special “raising a glass” moments.
David Spade revealed he was pitched an idea to make a sequel to “Tommy Boy,” his 1995 buddy comedy with the late Chris Farley. But for him, without Chris, it was a no-go. He explained that the idea came up 2 years ago, but he said to himself, “I can’t find a scenario with no Chris Farley. He was the whole movie.” The 2 actors were close friends and were “SNL” co-stars for 5 years before headlining “Tommy Boy” together.
The Walt Disney Co. is bringing a new Disney theme park and resort to Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates. The new destination will be the company’s 7th global resort, and its first in the Middle East. A Disney Experiences chairman said the new park and resort will be the company’s most “modern” destination yet and will also be its most “tech-forward” park. No word on an opening date.
Akon announced in April that he is “redoing his whole catalog in country,” and now we know what he meant. Josh Ross has recorded a version of Akon’s 2008 hit ‘Right Now (Na Na Na)’, titling it ‘Drunk Right Now (Na Na Na)’. It’ll drop May 28, but you can hear a snippet now on his TikTok.
Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil has confirmed the group still plans to release the unfinished album they were working on at the time of singer Chris Cornell’s 2017 death. “It would be a great gift to the fans…and I don’t know how strange this sounds, but I feel like it’s a gift to Chris too.”

Aerosmith’s Joe Perry is taking The Joe Perry Project on the road this summer for a brief North American tour, featuring an all-star lineup. Brad Paisley is teaming with Fender Guitars for a new signature model, the limited-edition Brad Paisley 1967 “Lost Paisley” Telecaster. It features a blue paisley design that Fender first introduced in the ’60s. The Fender Custom Shop will produce 67 of them, while Brad will personally build 19 more, available exclusively through his website and socials.

The Golden Globes on Wednesday announced that the ceremony will introduce a Best Podcast category at the 83rd Globes in 2026. “As the world of entertainment continues to evolve, we are excited to recognize new forms of storytelling,” said the Globes’ president, Helen Hoehne, in a press statement. This will mark the first time podcast will be recognized during a major film and TV awards show.

Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” may reunite in a comedy film, “The Best Is Yet To Come”, directed by Jon Turteltaub. Fox has canceled “Rescue HI-Surf” after one season due to declining viewership. The planned “Baywatch” reboot was speculated as a potential factor. Despite high ratings for its premiere, the show failed to retain viewers.

Utah Hockey Club is now the Utah Mammoth. The National Hockey League team announced its new name on Wednesday. The Mammoth moved from Phoenix last summer. Instead of rushing into a new name, the team kept things generic, calling themselves the Utah Hockey Club.
Some on social media questioned why it’s Utah Mammoth and not Mammoths? The NHL does have five other teams with non-plural names: The Seattle Kraken, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Colorado Avalanche, and the Minnesota Wild.
