There are new details about “The Office” upcoming spinoff, now officially titled “The Paper”. Peacock announced on Monday that “The Paper”, an extension of the Office universe, will premiere on the streamer in September with a more exact release date to be revealed. “The Paper” finds the same documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin Scranton searching for a new subject. They ultimately find it in an historic Toledo newspaper, The Truth Teller, and the eager publisher that’s trying to revive it.
Fox is rebooting NBC’s iconic competition series “Fear Factor” but will it include the show’s iconic host, Joe Rogan? The original “Fear Factor” aired on NBC from 2001 to 2006 with Joe as its original host, then again from 2011-2012. Fox said: “he’s a major talent tied to the show, but it’s too early…to say” if he’ll be back. Fox also picked up another former NBC series for its 2025-2026 schedule, the Jane Lynch-hosted “Weakest Link”.
A plaque on a bench in a Nashville park honoring Taylor Swift has been stolen. Installed by the city in 2023, it reads, “For Taylor Swift. A bench for you to read on at Centennial Park. Welcome home, Nashville.” That’s a nod to a line in her song ‘invisible string’. The city plans to replace it.

LeAnn Rimes has been cast in “9-1-1: Nashville” as a series regular. The Weeknd started his “After Hours Til Dawn” tour last Friday in Glendale, Arizona. Those who attended said he performed 37 tracks throughout the show. Playboi Carti was the opening act. The Weeknd started the tour and will take two weeks off, most likely to promote his film, “Hurry Up Tomorrow”, which opens this Friday.
“The Voice” is already looking ahead to season 28! NBC announced that Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan and Reba McEntire will all return to the series as coaches when the show returns for a new season in the fall. This marks Michael Bublé third season, making him one of the only artists in recent years to be a coach for more than two consecutive seasons.

Madonna has teamed up with Netflix and director Shawn Levy for a limited series about her life. He’s the guy who did “Deadpool & Wolverine” and is the executive producer of “Stranger Things”. There’s no word which part of Madonna’s life it’ll be about, or even WHO will portray her. It’s unrelated to that biopic starring Julia Garner that was scrapped, then brought back to life again. As of last July, Madonna had been working on the screenplay.
Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Luther” tops the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a 12th consecutive week. The hit collaboration now holds the record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 among duets by co-billed lead solo men and women, surpassing “I’ll Be Missing You”, which topped the charts for 11 weeks in 1997. “Luther” also becomes the longest-leading R&B/hip-hop No. 1 on the Hot 100 this decade, surpassing the 11-week rule for Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” in 2020.
Creed have teamed up with Meyer Shank Racing to sponsor the No. 60 Honda car, which will be piloted by Swedish driver Felix Rosenqvist during the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 25. The custom car will feature an eye-catching livery bearing the Creed logo against a black-and-papaya backdrop. The members of Creed will be attending the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” for the very first time.
