Get Bangs!” Fans are speculating that a studio version of “The Subway” is finally set to drop, after Roan had previously performed the song at a series of major festivals throughout the summer of 2024, including its live debut at Governors Ball in New York. Roan was also seen shooting a music video around New York City earlier this month. The song is expected to be released August 1st.
Netflix has officially renewed the popular supernatural comedy series Wednesday for a third season. The announcement precedes the highly anticipated premiere of the show’s second season. Jenna Ortega stars as the darkly humorous teenager Wednesday Addams. Wednesday is set to return with Season 2 debuting in two parts on August 6th and September 3rd.
Ike Barinholtz, recently nominated for his first Emmy for his role in The Studio, is in discussions to portray Elon Musk in an upcoming AI-focused film from director Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, Challengers). The film, titled Artificial, is being produced by Amazon MGM and will star Andrew Garfield and Anora breakout Yura Borisov. The movie is said to be based on the events surrounding the artificial intelligence company OpenAI in 2023, which saw its CEO, Sam Altman, briefly fired and then rehired.
Apple TV+ has officially renewed the sports comedy series Stick for a second season. The renewal announcement coincided with the release of the first season finale. Owen Wilson leads a talented cast including Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer, and Timothy Olyphant.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s deal with Netflix will not be renewed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a multi-year deal in 2020. Years into the reported $100 million partnership, an explosive report emerged about all the Netflix projects that reportedly did not work out for the royal couple. A source said, “The deal is done; no more shows will be made. Netflix feels they’ve got all they can from the couple.” The Netflix deal is set to expire in September of this year.
