Brad Pitt has officially offloaded one of his properties to Austin Butler. Austin scooped up Brad’s former 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom Los Feliz property in a deal that closed last Friday. Austin scored the house for $5.2 million, which is a deal given what Brad paid for the historic house. Brad purchased his Los Angeles-area home only 2 years ago for $5.5 million. He seemed eager to sell, especially after it was broken into and ransacked earlier in the summer.
MGK is hitting the road! MGK announced his global tour, “The Lost Americana Tour”, which will see him perform across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. This will mark his biggest global headline run yet. “Dates and countries still being added, don’t worry… but here’s part 1,” MGK captioned his socials.
Shaboozey’s smash hit, “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America. The RIAA designation means the song has over 10 million in sales. Shaboozey becomes the third Black male Country artist to go Diamond, joining Kane Brown and Darius Rucker. Shaboozey joins the short list of Black male artists with Diamond certification, including Kane, Darius, The Weeknd, Chris Brown, Khalid, and Michael Jackson.
Fans are sending love to Steve Martin after the “Only Murders in the Building” star shared a health update. The 80-year-old posted a snapshot of a dual COVID-19 and flu test, showing a positive line for COVID-19. He made light of the diagnosis in the caption, writing: “Hey! No flu!”. He had to cancel 2 nights of his comedy shows on the “Dukes of Funnytown! Tour” with Martin Short.
The top spot at the weekend box office was almost too close to call, as the Jordan Peele-produced “Him” duked it out with anime phenomenon “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba”. “Him” is projected to have ended the weekend with $15 million. “Demon Slayer” was narrowly projected to eke out a win in the $16 million range.
For decades, Stan Lee was the king of comic conventions. Now, nearly 7 years after his death at the age of 95, he’ll once again be a presence at LA Comic Con, this time as a hologram — that will use AI to have conversations with fans. Fans will be able to speak with the hologram at the Stan Lee Experience section of the con, a 1,500 ft. enclosed booth which costs between $20 to enter.
Alex Warren’s hit ‘Ordinary’ continues to be anything but. The song has scored a record-tying 14th week at #1 Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart. That equals Ace of Base’s ‘The Sign’, which accomplished the same chart feat in 1994.
Sabrina Carpenter will make her Grand Ole Opry debut October 7 as part of the institution’s ongoing 100th-anniversary festivities. According to the Opry’s website, Laci Kaye Booth and Kameron Marlowe will also perform at that night’s show, with more artists yet to be announced.
Producer Andrew Watt has confirmed that the Rolling Stones are working on new music. “It’s like working for Batman. When the tongue logo is up in the air, you just go…I can say we did some recording together, but that’s all I can say.” Mick Jagger has said that the group recorded enough material while making 2023’s “Hackney Diamonds” that “we are two-thirds through the next one.”

Sylvester Stallone believes that John Rambo’s story could continue with the help of AI. In an interview, Stallone said he pitched the idea of a de-aged “Rambo” for a prequel movie in the long-running franchise. He said, “Everyone thought I was crazy. AI is sophisticated enough to go through Saigon to see him at 18 years old and basically use the same image. So, it isn’t as big a stretch.”
Twenty-One Pilots’ “Breach” debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with the duo claiming the year’s biggest week for any rock album, and the largest sales week for a rock record in six years. “Breach” becomes the second chart-topper of the group’s career. It marks Twenty-One Pilots’ best week ever, and the biggest week for a rock album since Tool’s “Fear Inoculum” bowed at No. 1 with 270,000 equivalent units in September 2019.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has been fined $200 by the WNBA for a social media post criticizing officiating. Caitlin, sidelined with a groin injury since July 15, remains active on the bench supporting her teammates during the playoffs. Steve Harvey says he ended his stand-up career partly due to cancel culture. “My participation was to get away from it because the cancel culture started becoming everywhere. Comedy is too hard to do right now,” he told The Pivot Podcast. Steve noted he left stand-up around 2012 or 2015 after more than 30 years. He said performing on weekends left little time for family.
Reese Witherspoon spoke with The New York Times about how younger viewers no longer attend movies the way past generations did. “Kids don’t go to the movies. Usually, people are seeing one movie a year in the theaters with their kids. You’ve got to go where the audience is… Attention spans are shifting. The way we make movies is going to change radically in the next two to three years.”
Harry Styles ran the Berlin Marathon on Sunday and completed the 26.2-mile race in 2:59:13, which is his personal best. He was one of 80,000 runners. That is a strong improvement on his time of 3:24:07 (7:47 per mile) from the Tokyo Marathon, which he completed in March.
