Just one week after releasing her 12th studio album, Taylor Swift has announced two new Disney+ projects — both revisiting her second most recent era. “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era” is a six-part docuseries “chronicling the development, impact and inner workings that created the phenomenon that was The Eras Tour.” It will premiere December 12, with two new episodes dropping every Friday, culminating in a December 26 finale.
Also premiering December 12, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show”, a new concert film recorded in Vancouver, B.C., on December 8, 2024. The special features the entire “Tortured Poets Department” set, which was added to “The Eras Tour” following the release of her 2023 concert film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”.
Netflix will usher in the social season with new episodes of “Bridgerton”, releasing Season 4 in two parts: Part 1 will arrive January 29, followed by Part 2 on February 26. Each part will consist of four episodes.

Jim Caviezel and Monica Bellucci will not reprise their roles as Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene in Mel Gibson’s upcoming sequel “The Resurrection Of Christ”. Sigourney Weaver says she met with Disney about a new “Alien” script. Apple TV+ has eliminated the plus sign from its name as part of a streaming service rebrand. The company quietly revealed the change in a press release, describing the platform’s “vibrant new identity.” Apple claims the simplified “Apple TV” name is “easier to remember” for users.
