Netflix has announced a new drama series that will explore the triumphs and tragedies of the Kennedy family. Michael Fassbender has been cast as patriarch Joe Kennedy Sr. The 8-episode series, titled “Kennedy”, will detail “the intimate lives, loves, rivalries, and tragedies that shaped the most iconic dynasty in modern history, and helped create the world we live in today.”
Gracie Abrams and her show at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado will be broadcast on Apple Music Live, beginning October 29. Recorded in August, “Apple Music Live: Gracie Abrams” features songs from the deluxe edition of her 2024 album “The Secret of Us”.
Rush has announced another 17 reunion tour dates in North America for 2026, bringing the total number of shows to 40. The newly added tour stops are all one-offs, including in the Canadian cities of Montreal, Edmonton, and Vancouver. Rush’s “Fifty Something” tour now officially runs June 7 to December 15.
Zac Brown and Joe Walsh are joining “The Voice” Season 28 as mega mentors. Zac joins coaches Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg, while Joe will join Niall Horan and Reba McEntire as the contestants enter the Knockouts beginning October 27.

Jimmy Fallon is mourning the death of his dog, Gary. “The Tonight Show” host shared an emotional tribute to Gary on Instagram. He adopted the English cream golden retriever after she appeared on his show. “She was the last name we signed on every birthday card,” Jimmy wrote. “She was our first baby, a therapist, a pillow, a big sister, a schoolmarm, a comedian, a party girl, and a rebel… Franny, Winnie, Mommy, and I miss you. The house misses you.”
“Sinners” is coming back to movie theaters in time for Halloween. The blockbuster horror film will return to select IMAX theaters nationwide during the week of October 30 through November 5. “Sinners” grossed $367 million worldwide during its spring release, and the film is expected to compete for Best Picture at the 2026 Academy Awards.
Charli XCX and Jessica Alba are in negotiations to star in “A Tree Is Blue”, Dakota Johnson’s debut as a feature film director. Production is scheduled to begin next month in Los Angeles, though plot details remain undisclosed.
Apple TV+ will debut “The First Snow Of Fraggle Rock” on December 5. The holiday special stars singer and former Vine personality Lele Pons, who performs a duet of “Our Melody” with Fraggle Rock character Gobo — plus two additional holiday songs. The story follows Gobo’s journey to “Outer Space,” the human world, seeking inspiration after struggling to write the annual holiday song due to missing snow.
Netflix has acquired the worldwide rights to create film and TV projects based on the popular board game “Catan”. The streaming service plans both scripted and unscripted shows, plus live-action and animated content. Klaus Teuber launched “The Settlers Of Catan” in 1995, which has sold over 45 million copies globally.
Disney ordered Season 22 of “Project Runway”, set to premiere in 2026 on Hulu, Disney+ and Freeform. Heidi Klum returns as host and judge, joined by mentor Christian Siriano and judges Law Roach and Nina Garcia. Season 21 marked the show’s first release under Disney’s banner after years on Bravo and Lifetime.
Netflix’s new series “Boots” climbed to the No. 2 spot on the streamer’s weekly top 10 list, earning 9.4 million views during the week of October 13. The gay military drama, which recently faced criticism from the Pentagon, doubled its debut week total of 4.7 million views. “Monster: The Ed Gein Story” remained at No. 1 with 9.5 million views, down from 20.7 million the previous week.
Netflix has announced new partnerships with Mattel and Hasbro to create toys and games inspired by its hit animated musical “KPop Demon Hunters”. The companies will serve as global co-master toy licensees, developing dolls, collectibles, and role-play items that bring the world of HUNTR/X to fans. Mattel will launch a full product line in 2026, including dolls, figures, and playsets.
Kenny Chesney is headed back to the Sphere in Las Vegas in June 2026! Kenny was the first country artist to play the Sphere and plans to tweak the show from his first round with new songs and graphics. The shows will take place on June 19, 20, 24, 26, and 27.
