Eric Dane from “Grey’s Anatomy” passed away yesterday afternoon after a battle with ALS. He was 53. Eric announced his ALS diagnosis last April but started experiencing symptoms in early 2024. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Gayheart, and their two daughters. Eric was most known for playing Dr. Mark Sloan a.k.a “McSteamy” on “Grey’s Anatomy”. He also played Jacob Elordi’s dad Cal Jacobs on “Euphoria”.
Hudson Williams has officially found his first post-“Heated Rivalry” role, Crave’s half-hour drama “Yaga”. The series, led by Carrie-Anne Moss, follows a private investigator named Rapp, who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, who will be played by Hudson.
Journey has announced they’ll be performing at this summer’s Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which takes place August 7-16 in Sturgis SD. Also booked for the biker party are Sammy Hagar, David Lee Roth, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Collective Soul, Lainey Wilson, and more.
Alex Van Halen has confirmed work on a new album of unheard Eddie Van Halen material for the first time. He’d previously mentioned a collab with Toto’s Steve Lukather, but in a new interview, Van Halen said, “I’ve been fortunate enough to have Steve Lukather, who was a good friend of Ed’s, and we’re working on putting a record together.”
“Bedtime Stories with Ryan,” a live-action story time series featuring Ryan Reynolds, is set to premiere on Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. channel from March 2-13. The series comprises 10 episodes, where Ryan reads a mix of new and classic bedtime stories, bringing them to life in a magical manner to create an engaging experience for children and parents.
It’s official. Jelly Roll is becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry on March 10, and his good friend Lainey Wilson will handle the induction honors. Jelly first found out back in December when he was on Joe Rogan’s podcast. And it was Craig Morgan who surprised him with the invitation in a video message. Craig is one of Jelly’s biggest musical influences.

Steve Perry dismissed rumors Thursday night about rejoining Journey for their final tour. The former lead singer issued a statement saying, “the rumors about me rejoining the band are simply not true, and I want to gently put them to rest.” This follows comments from keyboardist Jonathan Cain, who claimed guitarist Neal Schon had been discussing the possibility with Steve and that Steve “didn’t say no.”
“Fight Club” will return to theaters for one night on April 22 in a newly restored 4K version to mark its 25th anniversary. The re-release will be followed by a 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD edition on May 12. Originally released in 1999, “Fight Club” stars Edward Norton as an unnamed office worker who meets soap salesman Tyler Durden, played by Brad Pitt.
Hulu is developing a new comedy series titled “Townhouse”, created by Zoe Young, with Chelsea Handler attached as executive producer and possible star. The show centers on “a washed-up reality star and her live-in entourage of misfits as they scramble to rehab her image and reboot her career.”
Country singer Riley Green will appear in several episodes of the new CBS series “Marshals”, a spinoff of “Yellowstone”. Riley plays Garrett, a former Navy SEAL who turns to friends Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, and Cal, portrayed by Logan Marshall-Green, for help confronting his past. The series premieres Sunday, March 1.
Fox Television Stations will keep “The Jennifer Hudson Show” on air for a fifth season in 2026-27. The renewal provides stability in syndicated daytime TV as “The Kelly Clarkson Show” and “Sherri” prepare to end after this season.
