Queen Elizabeth II delivered her formal permission for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to get married on May 19th, but observers are detecting a note of shade in the blessing.
The approval was deliver during a Mar. 14 Privy Council meeting at Buckingham Palace. The Queen used both Meghan and Harry’s full name in her decree: “My Lords, I declare My Consent to a Contract of Matrimony between My Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales and Rachel Meghan, which Consent I am causing to be signified under the Great Seal and to be entered in the Books of the Privy Council.”
Observers are pointing out that when she gave Prince William and Kate Middleton the go-ahead, she referred to them as “Our Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, K.G. and Our Trusty and Well-beloved Catherine Elizabeth Middleton”.
The love for Meghan was clearly left out, but some are saying she will likely receive the same high praise when the formal document is written up.
In related news, I hear that Meghan Markle was recently kidnapped by British Special Forces as part of her Royals training. A former Royals guard says, “The “kidnap and rescue” part was “devised to frighten the life out of anyone. Even though Meghan will have known the enemy was not real, I guarantee that she will have been petrified. That’s why live ammo is used, so she knows what real gunfire sounds like should, God forbid, she ever be in a hostile situation.”
Junko Chen, is a 57-year-old singer and mom who’s become an internet sensation after her daughter Meg tweeted about her brief appearance in Taylor Swift’s “Delicate” music video. Meg Tweeted: “This is my mom. She’s 57 and felt like pursuing acting recently… mostly for s**ts and giggles, but here she is. So beautiful,” Meg wrote alongside screenshots of her mother. Junko re-tweeted the message and adorably added, “I actually made my teenage daughter proud. #winning.” Both of their tweets have since accrued tens of thousands of likes. In the “Delicate” video, Junko plays a woman who applies lipstick in a bathroom mirror and smiles at her own reflection, unaware that Taylor–who has become invisible–is staring back at her. “I don’t know how much longer I have here on earth, but I want to do the best with whatever time I have left.” Junko also describes Taylor as a “sweet person” in real life
Snapchat is coming under fire for a new ad that asks users, “Would you rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown?” Rihanna herself took to social media to slam the promo. “Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain’t my fave app out there!” she wrote. “But I’m just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess. I’d love to call it ignorance, but I know you ain’t that dumb! You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to [domestic 0=”violence”] victims and made a joke of it…Throw the whole app-ology away.” While other Snapchat users have since vowed to delete the app, Chris Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos says, “They should change their name from Snapchat to Tone Deaf,” Meanwhile, a Snapchat rep said Wednesday in a statement, “The advert was reviewed and approved in error…We immediately removed the ad last weekend once we became aware. We are sorry that this happened.”
Jessica Alba has opened up about making her marriage to Cash Warren a priority. “I always try to get home from work for bath time and to cuddle the kids before bed. After that, Cash and I have dinner together and talk about our days,” she says. “I need ‘us’ time all the time.” The mom of three also dishes on having parenting ups and downs–which she steers clear of sharing online. “I just don’t need to use social media as therapy and tell everyone, ‘Today I f**ked up as a mom.’ It’s none of your damn business,” she says with a laugh. “People know enough about me. I make mistakes all the time… and sometimes when I get together with my friends, we’ll reflect on how we’ve made similar good and bad decisions. It’s like ‘Yeah, that was humbling.’ Then you move on and have a glass of wine.”

Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about some uncomfortable situations she’s found herself in… She has said that she hasn’t experienced the same level of sexual harassment as other women in Hollywood . . . but she has a few stories.
She was once told be a director to take her shirt off and show her boobs. For the record, she didn’t do it. She also didn’t name the director, but she said it happened on one of her first movies, before she was established, and when she was still vulnerable.
She said, “When I did speak up, I was terrified. I remember my heart beating out of my chest, thinking, ‘What did I do? This man is hiring me!’ . . .
“It could’ve gone either way for me . . . but I think ultimately, the Bronx in me was like, ‘Nah, we’re not having it.'”

During yesterday’s appearance on Ellen, Kendall Jenner revealed that she got the “Meow” tattoo on the inside of her lip after having one too many drinks. “I was drunk,” she admitted. “I was not thinking clearly. It was literally the first thing that came to my mind. I don’t know. My drunk thoughts.” The 22-year-old model continued, “I feel like it would’ve been a good place to put something I don’t want said… like a boyfriend’s name or something.” When host Ellen DeGeneres asked if it hurt, Kendall replied, “No because it’s just like fattiness. I don’t even know what this is. Is it a muscle? Fat? Whatever. It’s not bone. Bone hurts really bad. I have finger tattoos right here and that one hurt. It’s a little white heart.” Ellen went on to observe that she couldn’t even see the finger tattoos, and Jenner insisted that was the point. “All my friends have them. I was like, ‘I just want to know what it feels like,'” she explained.
