Fifth Harmony just announced that they are going on an indefinite hiatus, and member Lauren Jauregui’s first project is a spread in Playboy Magazine:
The caption reads: “With a blossoming career quickly outgrowing its girl group roots, @laurenjauregui has her sights set beyond Fifth Harmony to an even brighter future with much more to come.”
In the piece she says : “We tried our best to be ourselves, but we were also adolescents, so you have to think about who you were at that age and being thrown in front of cameras. When you’re really disconnected from who you are and you’re ashamed of it, you can write and tell a story, but you can never really tell your story.”
This seems to be the reason the girls all want to go in different directions. It’s sad but when she puts it like that, it makes sense.
How do you feel about it?
