Then, just this morning, this statement was released: “Ms. Meghan Markle has asked His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to accompany her down the aisle of the Quire of St George’s Chapel on her Wedding Day,” Kensington Palace said in a statement. “The Prince of Wales is pleased to be able to welcome Ms. Markle to The Royal Family in this way.
Charles, has actually stepped in to assist brides on their big day before. In 2016, he walked Alexandra Knatchbull — a goddaughter of the late Princess Diana — down the aisle when she wed Thomas Hooper, as her estranged father watched from the pews.

Meghan Markle will make a striking feminist statement in her wedding to Prince Harry on Saturday, choosing not to be chaperoned for much of the procession down the aisle of St. George’s Chapel, Windsor.
In an unprecedented step for a royal bride in the UK, Meghan will walk unescorted down the aisle of the chapel nave, after being met at the West Door by a member of the clergy. She will be accompanied in this first part of the wedding procession only by her bridesmaids and page boys, with the senior church figure walking ahead.
Prince Charles will join her when she reaches the Quire, where the main royal guests will be seated. The Prince — Harry’s father — will walk Meghan down the Quire aisle to the foot of the altar.
But Charles will not give her away to her husband-to-be in the traditional sense; instead, he will stand back as Meghan approaches Prince Harry.
Royal watchers are saying Meghan’s decision indicates that she wishes to assert herself as a strong, independent woman who is prepared to challenge royal norms.

That’s right, Tyler Dooley, recently created a special marijuana strain in honor of her and Prince Harry’s wedding. The 25 year-old legally grows marijuana in Grants Pass. Oregon. His new strain, Markle Sparkle, is described as “sweet and silky with a hint of blueberry.” Tyler will start selling the weed on June 2nd
So how much is this wedding going to cost? From what I’ve heard? About $83 million. Security alone is going to cost between $32 and $40 million. British taxpayers are expected to pay for half of the wedding expenses.
Amy Schumer thinks that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming wedding sounds more like a nightmare than a fairytale. “This poor girl,” she declared in a recent radio interview. “Like, your wedding, everyone says it’s your day.
