My source tells me Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are barely on speaking terms. Kate entered the royal family a commoner like Meghan, spent years working on her image as ‘the perfect royal,’ and Meghan is stealing her thunder. Apparently, the popularity contest has caused a lot of friction at the palace. Meghan learned everything from Kate. But since the wedding, Kate feels like Meghan has barely made any effort with her and is more interested in impressing the queen.
Yesterday, Pete Davidson shared a sexy bikini photo of his fiancee Ariana Grande and captioned it, “What the actual f**k” with a heart eye emoji. The pop superstar returned the love by writing, “I love you,” to which Pete responded, “I love you more tho.” Enter Seth Rogen, who decided to take it upon himself to say what everybody else is thinking. “Guys seriously,” he commented. Pete was unfazed. “When ur getting married to the hottest girl in the world, you tell me how you’d act,” he declared.
Johnny Depp has opened up about his financial troubles and his ex-managers’ lawsuit against him, which includes the allegation that his overspending included a whopping $30,000 a month on wine. In his interview with Rolling Stone he said, “It’s insulting to say that I spent $30,000 on wine. Because it was far more.” He also takes issue with the claim that he spent $3 million to shoot Hunter S. Thompson’s ashes out of a cannon saying, “It was not $3 million to shoot Hunter into the f**king sky, it was $5 million.”
ON FINANCES: Of the $650 million he has made on films almost all of it is gone, he reveals. He is suing The Management Group, run by his former manager Joel Mandel and his brother Robert. TMG is countersuing, alleging Johnny spent $2 million per month.
ON HIS EMOTIONAL STATE: “I was as low as I believe I could have gotten,” Depp says in the profile of losing his mother and going through a divorce at the same time. “The next step was, ‘You’re going to arrive somewhere with your eyes open and you’re going to leave there with your eyes closed.’ I couldn’t take the pain every day.”
ON HIS UPBRINGING: After describing his mother as “on phenobarbital at 12,” he said, “Yeah, there were irrational beatings. Maybe it’s an ashtray coming your way. Maybe you’re gonna get clunked with the phone.” Depp pauses. “It was a ghost house – no one talked. I don’t think there ever was a way I thought about people, especially women, other than ‘I can fix them.’ ”
ON HIS ANGER MANAGEMENT: “I poured myself a vodka in the morning and started writing until the tears filled my eyes and I couldn’t see the page anymore,” he recalls of the terrible post-death-and-divorce period. “I kept trying to figure out what I’d done to deserve this. I’d tried being kind to everyone, helping everyone, being truthful to everyone. The truth is most important to me. And all this still happened.”
Kim Kardashian has made a triumphant return to Paris Fashion Week! Kardashian has not popped up for fashion week in the City of Love since her brutal 2016 robbery at gunpoint.
Husband Kanye West accompanied her. They were there to support friend Virgil Abioh, who released his debut menswear collection for Louis Vuitton.
Kardashian kept it exceedingly simple, donning a casual blue shirtdress with cargo pockets and accessorizing with a simple thin band on her ring finger. Since her robbery, during which she was held at gunpoint by five burglars who stole $10 million worth of jewelry, she’s been low-keying it in the jewelry department.
Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this year, Kardashian said: “I don’t want to start crying, but … I’m such a different person. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things,” She continued, “It was probably no secret, you see it on the show, me being flashy, but I was definitely materialistic before. Not that there’s anything bad about having things and working hard to get those things — and I’m really proud of everyone that’s around me that’s successful. But I’m so happy that my kids get this me. And that this is who is raising my kids. Because I just don’t care about that stuff anymore, I really don’t.”
Blake Shelton admits that he didn’t expect his relationship with Gwen Stefani to last as long as it has. “I think that in the back of our minds we both kind of thought this is a rebound deal, because we were both coming out of a pretty low spot in our lives and were kind of clinging to each other to get through this,” Blake says in a clip from his upcoming Sunday TODAY interview. “But now here we are, going on three years later.” He adds, “Every day that goes by just feels like a stronger bond between the two of us. It constantly feels like it’s going to the next level.” The duo got together shortly after Blake’s divorce from Miranda Lambert and Gwen’s divorce from Gavin Rossdale. Blake’s full interview airs this Sunday, June 24.
Iggy Azalea took to Twitter yesterday to praise her friend Demi Lovato for opening up about relapsing. “Waking up listening to @ddlovato ‘Sober,'” Iggy tweeted. “I’m proud of you for having the guts to reveal your truth to the world again. NOT. EASY.” She added, “I’m here for you friend! (You know this). I’ll pray you’ll choose recovery again.” All of us who love you only want to see you happy and healthy.” Demi released a new song called “Sober” this week that reveals she started drinking again after six years of sobriety. Some of the lyrics include: “Momma, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore,” she sings. “And Daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor/ To the ones who never left me, we’ve been down this road before/ I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore.”
During an appearance on “Good Morning America” this week, Mike Myers sort-of dropped a hint about another Austin Powers movie. “I can neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of a movie like that, which exists or not exists.” Mike said the whole statement with a smile and added that it was “looking good.”
