James McAvoy has donated $340,000 to help purchase equipment for health service staff treating coronavirus patients. The money was given to the crowdfunding campaign Masks for Heroes, set up by a group of U.K. doctors to raise money to buy personal protective equipment, such as masks, visors and gloves for NHS staff.
Jon Bon Jovi believes that his 17-year-old son Jacob fought off a “mild version” of the coronavirus. He told a reporter that his family has been together for 15 days, during which, “Jake had a mild version of it, just the intestinal kind.”
Kane Brown and John Legend will be among the performers for “ACM Presents: Our Country”, a two-hour television special in place of the rescheduled 2020 ACM Awards on April 5. Also taking part: Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Old Dominion, as will Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

The NFL is expanding the playoffs from 12 to 14 teams this season . . . and one of the games will air on Nickelodeon. It’ll also air on CBS, but the Nickelodeon version will have content “tailored to a younger audience.”
Billie Eilish has designed a coloring book to raise money for charity. The book has pictures of her from her music videos and album covers. Proceeds are going to benefit UNICEF and coronavirus charities.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson may engage in another one-on-one golf match. They are trying to get Tom Brady and Peyton Manning to play as well. Mickelson won the last match and $9 million when he beat Tiger on several playoff holes.
Prince Charles is expected to pay for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s U.S. security costs. Charles has agreed to pay a ‘private contribution’ to the Sussexes. It will not be revealed how much and what that is used for, but it is believed to be around $.2.5 million.
Kings of Leons released a new single via a black and white video on Tuesday. Caleb Followill strums the acoustic ballad “Going Nowhere” in the video. This is the band’s first new music since their 2016 album WALLS.
American Idol host Ryan Seacrest says that the show will deliver a full season. The show will use technology to deliver show’s normal elements: singers’ performances, judges’ comments and fan voting.
A Law & Order: SVU spinoff centered around the Elliot Stabler character is moving forward. Chris Meloni, who left the show in 2011, will reprise his old role as Stabler. The show has received a 13 episode order from NBC.
Harry Styles said he’s been “stuck” in California after all flights to the U.K. were canceled. He also said he was “really sad” to have to cancel the last leg of his “Love on Tour,” and misses his mom and sister.
Also in the U.K., Rick Astley has announced that he’s never gonna give up his coronavirus relief efforts. He’s offering a FREE CONCERT . . . only for British healthcare workers and emergency services staff. It’s happening in Manchester on October 28th.

Tom Brady is moving from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but he’s still Number 12. Wide receiver Chris Godwin offered his jersey number to Brady, who gratefully accepted, according to the team’s website. Godwin will henceforth be number 14.
