Sony Pictures pushed back two of its big summer releases until next year: “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” and the Marvel movie “Morbius.” It’s a sign of potentially more to come from other major studios potentially writing off the summer 2020 box office and preparing for the possibility that even if movie theaters are able to welcome audiences back with reduced capacity by July, there will be little product to lure moviegoers who might already be wary of returning to crowded spaces.

Drake has dropped a new song and video called “Toosie Slide.” Musically, the song is basic trap with stuttering cymbals, bass drum and plenty of room for Drake’s lyrics. He also raps instructions about how to do the dance. “Right foot up, left foot slide/ Left foot up, right foot slide/ Basically I’m saying either way we ’bout to slide.” The song is already going viral on TikTok, as users do their best version of the dance.

While he was creating his chart-topping new album After Hours, The Weeknd somehow found time to help write a full episode of the animated TV show American Dad. The singer says he “kinda” plays himself in the show. The new episode will appear in Season 17 of the Seth McFarlane series, and is set to air May 4. The Weeknd also says he’ll be debuting a new song in the episode as well.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted an Instagram video this week of his pre-shower, hand-washing routine with young daughter Tia. “Before my showers now, Baby Tia (mama mia) demands I sing the rap portion of my song ‘You’re Welcome’ from Moana, while I wash her hands,” he wrote.
