‘War with Grandpa’ with Robert De Niro was this weekend’s biggest draw at the box office, earning $3.6 million.  The movie topped ‘Tenet’, which earned $2.1 million in its sixth week. ‘War with Grandpa’ wasn’t really a box office winner.  The movie is the lowest-grossing #1 film debut since 1989.

Billboard announced that BLACKPINK’s first full-length album “THE ALBUM” had debuted at No. 2 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States. Streaming of Van Halen music in the US increased by over 1,300% in the days following Eddie Van Halen’s death last week. Van Halen songs were streamed 31.19 million times from October 6-7, compared to 2.12 million times October 4-5. The top-5 most-streamed songs: ‘Jump’ (2.33 million streams, a gain of 554%), ‘Panama’, ‘Runnin’ With the Devil’, ‘Hot For Teacher’, and ‘Eruption’.

Doesn’t everyone want to play a superhero! Luke Hemsworth has a desire to join his brother Chris Hemsworth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and play X-Men’s Wolverine! Hugh Jackman has owned that character, but after nearly two decades, Jackman has said he’s done.  Looks like there’s an opening!

Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block says he’ll release a new solo single on October 23. Joey wrote the song a few years ago and says it takes on a new meaning now. This will mark his first solo release since his 2011 holiday project, Come Home for Christmas.
