A cruise dedicated to the beloved ’90s sitcom ‘Friends’ will be setting sail from Florida in May 2022. The cruise is not affiliated with Warner Bros., which owns the rights to “Friends”, nor will there be any cast members appearing, but for superfans, there’s plenty to do on board, including “Friends” trivia, a come-as-your-favorite-character costume contest and cooking demos. Nicknamed “The One When They Went on a Cruise.”
Valerie Bertinelli is headed back to scripted TV to play Demi Lovato’s mother. The two will star in “Hungry”, a comedy pilot at NBC.
Kevin Bacon is slated to play the villain in “The Toxic Avenger” opposite Peter Dinklage, Jacob Tremblay and Taylour Paige. “The Toxic Avenger” follows the monstrous protector of Tromaville, N.J., born when the mild-mannered ‘Melvin’ falls into a vat of toxic waste. Production is set to get underway in Bulgaria later this month.

An anticipated sequel to “Aquaman” is coming together. Director James Wan posted the working title of the new movie on IG: “Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom”. The sequel is due to be released in December 2022.

A seat aboard Jeff Bezos’ rocket was auctioned off on Saturday for $28 million. Proceeds from the auction are going to Club For The Future, a nonprofit that helps young people pursue careers in STEM. The rocket launches on July 20th

Paramount’s “A Quiet Place II” managed to beat Warner Bros’ highly anticipated debut of “In the Heights”, Jon M. Chu’s rendition of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical. This is “A Quiet Place”’s third week in the B.O. It snagged $11.7M, while “In the Heights” grabbed $11.4M.
