Taylor Swift has revealed the first song title from her forthcoming album, “Midnights”. She announced that she’ll be using an old-fashioned bingo cage to “allow fate to decide” which song titles will be shared in a segment called, “Midnights Mayhem with Me.” Track 13, entitled “Mastermind” was the first to be announced.
Christmas has come early for Hallmark Media. Soap star Alison Sweeney (also star of Hallmark’s “The Wedding Veil” trilogy) has agreed to a multi-picture deal with the channel. As part of it, she’ll be starring in “A Magical Christmas Village”, which she also executive produces with Luke Macfarlane and guest star Marlo Thomas.
Over the weekend, as fans waited to enter Boston’s MGM Music Hall for Lil Nas X’s show, a group of religious protesters gathered across the street, asking them to “repent” with massive signs. In true Lil Nas X fashion, he turned it into a positive, tweeting, “Just told my team to send them pizza, this is really good promo!”

Bad Bunny has a big night ahead, as he leads the pack for this year’s Latin GRAMMY Awards with a whopping 10 nominations. The Latin Recording Academy announced the nominees for this year’s 23rd annual awards ceremony, which is set to take place on Thursday, Nov. 17.
The Golden Globes will try and regain its level of influence in Hollywood. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the award show would return to NBC for one year and then look for other platforms after that. The broadcast was taken off the air after the Los Angeles Times’ exposé of the HFPA’s lack of diversity. The broadcast will air on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
AppleTV+ just announced the official release date of its long-anticipated documentary feature film, “Selena Gomez: My Mind and Me”. The documentary will premiere globally on November 4, 2022. The doc provides an inside look at Selena’s rise to fame and origins before stardom, as well as her struggles with her own mental health.
People are willing to pay for Amazon Prime to watch Thursday Night Football. According to Amazon, a record number of subscriptions were activated during last week’s Prime Video TNF game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. The company didn’t divulge the numbers, but there were more subscribers during the three-hour football game than on Cyber Monday, Black Friday, and Prime Day.

“Inside Amy Schumer” is returning for a fifth season on October 20th. There will be five episodes, and they’ll air on Paramount+. In an Instagram post, she says she’s coming back to, quote, “burn any remaining bridges.”
The new Smashing Pumpkins album will be released in THREE PARTS. It’s called “ATUM” . . . pronounced just like “autumn” . . . and it’s a sequel to 1995’s “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” and 2000’s “Machina / The Machines of God”. “Act 1” is dropping November 15th. “Act 2” comes out January 31st of 2023. And “Act 3” follows on April 21st. Although by that point, you can also buy the whole album in a box set with bonus tracks.
“Saturday Night Live” kicks off its 48th season on October 1st with Miles Teller hosting and Kendrick Lamar as musical guest. On the 15th, Megan Thee Stallion pulls double duty as host AND musical guest.
