“Community” is finally getting its long-awaited movie. It’ll be made for Peacock, and so far six of the original cast are returning. All six seasons of the show will also be coming to Peacock, but no word when.
“The Sopranos” has been named the best TV show of all time. Rolling Stone unveiled its list of the top 100 television shows, calling the New Jersey-set HBO mob drama an “undisputed champion” due to its “86 medium-transforming episodes.”
75% of Avicii’s recording and publishing rights have been sold to Pophouse Entertainment, the music investment firm co-founded by ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus. The deal is estimated to be worth 9 figures.
Britney Spears and Elton John have released a video for their collab ‘Hold Me Closer’. Directed by Tanu Muino, who also helmed Harry Styles’ ‘As It Was’ and Lil Nas X’s ‘Montero’, it does not feature Brit or Elton, but is full of interpretive dance numbers.
Ed Sheeran has collaborated with The Pokémon Company group on a new song called “Celestial”, to be used in two different games, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. The video was inspired by Ed’s childhood fascination with the franchise. Games will launch on November 18.
Dua Lipa and Trevor Noah were spotted on a romantic dinner date in New York City. Photos show the pair sharing a meal at a Jamaican restaurant in the east Village called Miss Lilly’s. Sources told the outlet that they “sat close together” during the meal and then took a walk where they were spotted stopping “for long embraces” and even “kissed.”
Marvel Studios has changed up it’s plans for “Armor Wars”. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project, originally slated to be a series for Disney+, will be redeveloped as a feature film. It will still star Don Cheadle, who is reprising his longtime MCU role as Rhodey Rhodes, AKA War Machine.
Bruce Willis sold his image rights to an artificial intelligence company called Deepcake. They made a “digital twin” of him using content from “Die Hard” and “The Fifth Element” that can be used for future film projects.
Bruce Springsteen recorded an album of soul covers. It’s called “Only the Strong Survive” and it comes out November 11th. Bruce says it made him realize he really does have a decent voice.

Taylor Swift has another bold move up her sleeve. Taylor is said to be preparing to release a track with Drake, and it reportedly features some controversial subject matter. The track is said to be a secret song recorded during the sessions for Taylor Swift‘s 2017 album, “Reputation” but it didn’t make the cut because it “was deemed too direct” about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Taylor is now planning to include their “secret song” on “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)”, an upcoming re-release of her 2017 album.
Not only is Ryan Gosling starring in “Barbie”, one of 2023’s most anticipated films alongside Margot Robbie, but he’s also adding a new fashion credit to his résumé as the new face of Gucci. The new teaser just dropped to the upcoming fashion film, set to Heart’s classic “Magic Man”, shows Ryan as a bellhop, who tosses all the Gucci bags he has into the bed of a truck before driving them all to the beach.
Adam Sandler said he’d be down to play more “foosball” in a sequel to his hit 1998 comedy ‘Waterboy’. Adam told ‘Variety’ “That would be fun as hell. love Mama”, referring to Kathy Bates’ character from the film. He added “I love Henry Winkler. He’s always gonna be Coach Klein to me.”
The box office’s two newest entrants saw very different results. Horror film “Smile” got off to a good start at the #1 spot, while the rom-com “Bros” is looking like a flop. “Smile” opened with a $19 million opening weekend. “Bros” opened at #4, with an estimated $4.75 million weekend take.
Ed Sheeran has been ordered to stand trial in the US over a $100 million claim he copied his hit ‘Thinking Out Loud’ from Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s Get It On’. That comes 6 months after he was cleared of copying ‘Shape Of You’ at a trial in London.
Madonna is working on something new. Friday she tweeted: “Back at it…”, alongside pics of herself hard at work in a recording booth. Her last album of new material was 2019’s “Madame X”.
The Beatles have released another song from their upcoming “Revolver” box set: the first take of ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’, recorded April 6, 1966, at EMI Studios, which later bacome Abbey Road Studios. The collection, now available for preorder, drops Oct. 28.

The new Sinead O’Connor documentary “Nothing Compares” doesn’t even contain the song “Nothing Compares 2 U”. Prince’s half-sister wouldn’t let them use it because she felt Sinead doesn’t deserve it.
Taylor Swift is reportedly plotting a massive stadium tour for the summer of 2023. One insider told us, “Taylor has some really ambitious plans in place. She’s excited to get back on the road after such a long but fruitful break.” A second source added that several shows have already been booked.
