It looks like a new “Era” is in the making for Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have called it quits after six years of dating. The pop star and the British actor broke up a few weeks ago.
NBC is developing a mockumentary-style comedy from Universal Television called “Mr. Throwback” with NBA legend Steph Curry and Adam Pally. The proposed series is about a down-on-his-luck memorabilia dealer looking for redemption by reuniting with his sixth-grade teammate.
MTV just announced the nominees for the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which will be hosted by Drew Barrymore live from Los Angeles on May 7. “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” smashed all box office expectations. Since opening on Wednesday, the film has raked in $204 million domestically. Mario pulled in $146 million for the weekend, making it the highest three-day opening of the year. It takes over for having the highest-grossing opening weekend of an animated movie with $377 million worldwide.
Jason Momoa’s ‘Minecraft’ film finally has a release date…but it’s going to be a minute before it hits theaters. ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ says the film won’t hit theaters until April 4th, 2025.
SZA’s tour has proven very successful, grossing $34.5 million in a period of about 10 weeks. The 18-date stint ran from February 21 through March 23, marking SZA with her first ever headlining arena tour. The ‘SOS’ tour sold 238,000 tickets.
