The lead single from Ed Sheeran’s forthcoming album, “Subtract”, will drop Friday. The singer shared a snippet of the music video for “Boat” to Instagram Monday along with the caption, “Boat is the first song I wrote and finished for Subtract, it’s where it all began, and a good way to kick off the album. I’m gonna release the full song and video this friday, hope you love it as much as I do x.”
Nicki Minaj is everywhere these days, including collaborating with Kim Petras on her new upcoming single, “Alone” dropping this Friday, April 21st. The song samples Alice Deejay’s 1999 club hit, “Better Off Alone”.

The live action “Sonic the Hedgehog” spinoff series “Knuckles” starring Idris Elba at Paramount+ has assembled its cast. In addition to Idris reprising the role of ‘Knuckles’ from “Sonic the Hedgehog 2,” Adam Pally will once again play the role of ‘Wade Whipple’ from the film franchise.
Last week, NBC renewed 6 shows for next season, including “Chicago Fire”, “Chicago P.D.”, “Chicago Med”, and 3 “Law and Order” series. Apparently, the renewals came with an asterisk, as casts were told that they will appear in fewer episodes next year.
September 23 has been declared “Bruce Springsteen Day” in New Jersey. Governor Phil Murphy said the honor is to “recognize Bruce for all he has done and will continue to do, from giving us the gift of his music to lending his time to the causes close to his heart.” That’s the same day The Boss turns 74.

Sources say “Yellowstone” will end after the second half of Season 5, because Kevin Costner can’t get along with the show’s creator. There’s no word when it’ll start filming or when it’ll air.

Jamie Foxx is still in the hospital following the “medical complication” he experienced last week. The actor is at a medical facility in Georgia, where doctors are trying to discover the cause of the incident. “They are running tests and still trying to figure out what exactly happened,” a source told CNN.
John Mulaney shared a teaser for his upcoming Netflix stand-up special to Twitter. “As you process and digest how obnoxious, wasteful, and unlikable that story is, just remember that’s one I’m willing to tell you,” he says in the clip. “John Mulaney: Baby J” premieres on the streaming platform on April 25th.
