John Carpenter’s 1978 horror classic ‘Halloween’ is returning to theatres for its 45th anniversary, along with 1988’s ‘Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers’ and 1989’s ‘Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.’ The films will screen across 300 theatres nationwide over Halloween weekend; find one near you at 1978Halloween.com.

Paramount+ has canceled the “iCarly” reboot after three seasons. A Paramount spokesperson says, quote, “The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together. “We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”
“The Drew Barrymore Show” is set to return October 16th, but its three head writers sure won’t. According to sources, they’ve declined an offer to return, so the production team is currently looking for new writers. It doesn’t come as too big of a surprise, considering last month Drew announced she’d resume her show WITHOUT her striking writers. Then after receiving backlash, she backtracked and decided to wait until the strike ended.
Taylor Swift leads the nominees for the 2023 MTV Europe Music Awards with seven nods, including Best Artist and Best Song and Best Video for “Anti-Hero.” She’s competing with Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo and SZA in the Best Artist category. The MTV EMAs will take place on November 5th in Paris.
