Kelly Clarkson will host and perform on the “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” special. It airs Wednesday, November 29th on NBC and will stream on Peacock.
There was “never” a moment in which “The Crown” was going to show the car crash that led to Princess Diana’s tragic death. In a new interview, executive producer Peter Morgan said: “Oh, God, we were never going to show the crash. Never.” The last season of “The Crown,” covering the years 1997-2005, will be split into 2 parts. The first half drops November 16.
Taylor Swift teased the release of “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” by sharing photos of her notebook, which features new handwritten lyrics, including: “Let’s fast forward to/300 takeout coffees later/I see your profile/and your smile on/unsuspecting waiters.” The re-recorded release of her 2014 album drops today.
Rush’s Geddy Lee stars in a new docuseries, where he visits other bassists to explore their worlds beyond music. The trailer shows him canning tomatoes Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, surfing with Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, trading licks with Hole’s Melissa Auf Der Maur, and more. “Geddy Lee Asks: Are Bass Players Human Too?” will stream on Paramount+ on December 5.

Mattel released collectible Barbie dolls inspired by Ted Lasso. If you’re a fan of the Apple TV+ show starring Jason Sudeikis, you might get a kick out of Mattel’s new collection. The Ted Lasso Barbie is dressed in the character’s signature blue tracksuit with AFC Richmond logo detailing and a working zipper. The collection includes two other dolls made in the likeness of characters Rebecca Welton and Keeley Jones.
Matt Rife‘s upcoming comedy special, “Natural Selection”, is coming to Netflix November 15. The standup was filmed during the September 22 and 23 stops of his World Tour at the DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. His previous specials, “Only Fans” and “Matthew Steven Rife”, ran on YouTube this past April.
Drake’s birthday week continues with the announcement of new merchandise. The line of goodies celebrates Drake’s latest release, “For All The Dogs”. Like the twisted stalker at the center of its story, Paramount+’s “Fatal Attraction” series is dead after one season. The psychological thriller based on the 1987 film has been cancelled at the streamer. In addition, “Rabbit Hole” — the corporate espionage thriller starring Kiefer Sutherland — also will not return for Season 2.

Beyonce will hold premieres in Los Angeles (November 25) and London (November 30) for her upcoming concert film “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé”. The movie arrives in theaters on December 1st.
