“1989 (Taylor’s Version)” just dropped on Friday, and earned more than 550,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. through its first three days of release, of which an impressive 370,000 were in traditional album sales. The collected songs have also generated more than 220 million on-demand official streams.
Goo Goo Dolls are already feeling the holiday spirit. This week, the band shared a new original Christmas tune, “Who’s Gonna Hear Their Wish?” The track will appear on a new deluxe version of their 2020 holiday album “It’s Christmas All Over (Again)”, due out November 17th.
John Mellencamp will be extending his ‘Live and In Person’ tour into 2024. The singer announced a new batch of tour dates earlier this week, kicking off March 8th in Rochester, NY. The set list includes John’s classics and songs from his most recent album “Orpheus Descending”.
Green Day will be heading to France for a surprise concert in Paris. The band broke the news earlier this week, tweeting “SURPRISE! We decided to hop on a plane and play a show in Paris. See you this Saturday, 4th November, at Bataclan!!!” Green Day will be releasing a new album, “Saviors”, in January and has promised a massive stadium tour in 2024.
Blink-182 and The Cure worked together on the new Blink album “One More Time”. The Cure founder and frontman Robert Smith has a writing credit on the album, on the song “Fell In Love”. It’s not the first time Robert has worked with the band – he also co-wrote “All of This” from their self-titled 2003 album.
As Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker prepare to welcome their baby boy, the Blink-182 drummer revealed they name they have planned for their son: Rocky! He confirmed the news on the latest episode of the “One Life One Chance” podcast, and shared that the baby could arrive at any time.
The NBA season is only one week old, and we’ve seen a massive transaction. The Philadelphia 76ers have traded James Harden to the LA Clippers. Several other players and draft picks were involved in the transaction. James had requested a trade from Philly over the summer. He also called the Sixers’ President of Basketball Operations, Daryl Morey, a “liar” multiple times.
Seth Rogen will appear as a guest judge on “The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down” on CBC. Based on the UK format “The Great Pottery Throw Down”, the show will see 10 amateur potters take on challenges to create beautiful pieces. Seth, who is a talented potter himself, will also exec-produce.
The ‘Ken’ personified by Ryan Gosling in “Barbie” is getting his own doll. Sporting the hoodie that became a real-life apparel item, the “Kenough Doll” is sculpted from Ryan’s likeness. The doll will be made a made-to-order product, and can be purchased now on Mattel Creation, with a ship date in 2024.
Miley Cyrus says Billie Eilish is at the top of her wish list of people she wants to work with. She told The Sunday Mirror: “There haven’t been any conversations yet. But it’s something I’m open to, for sure.”
Jungkook has released a David Guetta remix of his solo hit ‘Seven’ ft. Latto. In another treat for fans, DJ and producer MK has worked his magic on ‘3D’ ft. Jack Harlow, with his house version of the popular tune. It was also recently announced that Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes have contributed to Jungkook’s debut solo album.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s kids, North and Saint, made thousands for their voiceover roles in “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie”. North made $20,000 for four recording sessions, and Saint made $10,000 for two.
Kelly Severide is returning to “Chicago Fire” for the upcoming, 12th season. Taylor Kinney left the show halfway through Season 11 to deal with some sort of personal matter. They wrote him off by having Severide leave to attend an arson investigation training program. Thanks to the actors’ strike, there’s no word on a premiere date for Season 12.

Harry Styles leads Heat magazine’s list of the richest U.K. stars under 30. The British magazine says Harry earned $213 million this year, due to his successful “Love On Tour”, modeling contract with Gucci, sales from his “Pleasing” line of beauty and skin products, and allegedly, a five-movie deal with Marvel to reprise his role as Eros from the 2021 film “Eternals”.
Jack Harlow will perform the halftime show during the Detroit Lions’ 84th annual Thanksgiving Day Classic on November 23rd against the Green Bay Packers. The game will be nationally televised on Fox starting at 12:30pm.
Wynonna Judd will be joining “The Voice” for its 24th season. NBC announced that the “No One Else On Earth” singer will join judges Niall Horan, John Legend, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani as a mega mentor. She is the second country music star to join the show since Blake Shelton left last season.
