The 2024 Oscars drew 19.5 million viewers in the United States on ABC on Sunday night, up from 18.8 million in 2023. It marked the third consecutive year of viewership growth and was the most-watched ceremony since 2020. Here in Canada, the Oscars garnered an average audience of 3.5 million viewers, up 4% over last year. One in two English language Canadians who were watching TV on Sunday tuned into the broadcast.

It’s Taylor week on Good Morning America and on Tuesday they announced that the acoustic version of “Maroon” from her album Midnights will be featured in the concert film when it arrives on Disney+.
