A new series of “Lord of the Rings” movies is on the way. Warner Brothers announced that the first new LOTR film will be released sometime in 2026. Warner CEO David Zaslav said the new movie will “explore storylines yet to be told.” The first three movies were very successful, grossing around $3 billion.
1994’s ‘The Crow’, starring late actor Brandon Lee as a rockstar returned from the dead seeking vengeance, returns to theatres May 29 and 30. The film, which celebrates its 30th anniversary, grossed $94 million on a $23 million budget. Sadly, it’s also the film where Brandon was fatally wounded on set. The reboot premieres in theatres on August 23.
Seth MacFarlane’s prequel series “Ted” has been renewed for a second season on Peacock. It was a success for the service, becoming their most-watched original title and the top streaming comedy in the U.S. for over two months.

‘Succession’ star Jeremy Strong has been cast in the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic. He will play manager Jon Landeau alongside ‘The Bear’ star Jeremy White, who has been cast as The Boss. ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere’ will focus on Springsteen recording 1982’s ‘Nebraska’.
The latest trailer for the movie “Twisters” dropped. To sweeten the hype, Luke Combs announced that his next single from the soundtrack is coming on May 16. “Pumped to let y’all know my next single on country radio will be “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma” – a song written for and featured in the @Twistersmovie,” he wrote on X. “Twisters” starring Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos is in theaters July 19.

The “Friends” star had just purchased the mid-century estate at the time of his death, and the luxurious property is now for sale for $5.1 million.
