The Weeknd is now the artist with the most songs to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify. The title track from his album ‘After Hours’ reached the milestone, breaking a 17-song tie with Drake. The Weeknd’s smash hit ‘Blinding Lights’ remains the most streamed song on Spotify, with nearly 4.5 billion.
Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Green Day, Jennifer Hudson, Kane Brown, Mariah Carey, Raye, and Stray Kids will perform on the American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special next month. The 2-hour special airs Sunday, October 6 on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
Hoda Kotb will step down as co-anchor of NBC’s “Today” show and plans to continue in a different role at the network where she has worked for 26 years. She will exit the role in early 2025. Hoda has co-anchored “Today” with Savannah Guthrie since 2018 and has been a correspondent and anchor with NBC News since 1998.
