“Abbott Elementary” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” are doing a crossover episode this season. Both shows are set in Philly. There aren’t any other details yet.
Ed O’Neill has joined the star-studded cast of Ryan Murphy‘s new Hulu series. The 78-year-old actor has been cast in the upcoming legal drama “All’s Fair” starring Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close. Previously announced cast members also include Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sarah Paulson, Teyana Taylor, and Matthew Noszka. No release window has been announced for the show.
Stevie Nicks is joining in on the Kelce holiday fun! Jason Kelce hinted at a collaboration with the Fleetwood Mac singer on the New Heights podcast Instagram. For the third year in a row, Jason, a former NFL lineman, will release a holiday album called “A Philly Special Christmas Party”. The holiday album will raise money for charity. The album will be available on November 29.
Andrew Garfield says he’d play ‘’Spider-Man’ again — under a few conditions. He said to Esquire that he’d “100% come back if it was the right thing…if there’s a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before that’s unique and odd and exciting and that you can sink your teeth into.”
Loverboy has re-recorded ‘Working for the Weekend’ for a new IHOP commercial – with a slight change. The 1981 hit has been transformed into ‘Working for the Weekday’ in the ad, which features bandana-wearing maple syrup dispensers recreating the song’s music video. It’s to promote the restaurant’s new weekday House Faves menu.
Matthew Broderick says he’s never been on “Sex and the City” because, quote, “It just never worked out.” He was also offered some bit parts that were just embarrassing, like, quote, “premature ejaculator.”

“Criminal Minds” fan-favorite Matthew Gray Gubler will return to TV as the lead in a new CBS crime procedural pilot, tentatively titled “Einstein”. He will star in and produce the series, which follows the brilliant-yet-wayward great grandson of Albert Einstein as he is reluctantly roped into aiding a local detective with solving complex cases.
Hulu has renewed the unscripted series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” for an additional 20 episodes following its successful premiere last month to big ratings. The first batch of new episodes is set to debut in spring 2025.
Johnny Depp, dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow, surprised young cancer patients at Osakidetza Donostia University Hospital in Spain during the San Sebastian Film Festival. Johnny visited the pediatric and oncology wards.
Caitlin Clark has been named the WNBA Rookie of the Year in a near-unanimous vote. A national panel of sportswriters and sportscasters gave Clark 66 of 67 votes. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese received the other. Clark, the No. 1 overall pick from Iowa, averaged 19.2 points and a league-best 8.4 assists per game plus 5 rebounds per game. She also helped the WNBA set attendance records and garner mainstream attention.
