Netflix has released the episode titles for the upcoming fifth and final season of “Stranger Things”. A video teaser just dropped confirming that season 5 will take place in the Fall of 1987. For context, “Stranger Things” season 1 started in the Fall of 1983. Season 5 will have eight episodes and is set to hit Netflix in the latter part of 2025.
The 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is on November 28 at 77th Street and Central Park West in New York City. This year, the parade will feature 39 giant balloons, including new 60-foot Minnie Mouse and Spiderman balloons, as well as performances from Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, Idina Menzel, T-Pain, and more. Ryan Reynolds has confirmed he is working with Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy on an upcoming film away from Marvel. The 3 all worked together on the superhero smash-hit “Deadpool and Wolverine” and now, speaking on a podcast, Ryan has teased that he is “spending the year writing. I’m writing a movie for myself, Hugh, and Shawn to do that is not Marvel.”

The iconic ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in “The Wizard of Oz” have been put up for auction. Heritage Auctions in Dallas announced in a news release that online bidding has started and will continue through December 7. The current bid at $812,500, with the next minimum bid set at $825,000. The slippers are being auctioned nearly two decades after they were stolen from Minnesota’s Judy Garland Museum in 2005.

The series centers around two women with divergent paths in Atlanta, connecting a wealthy Black family in the hair care industry with an exotic dancer from a famous strip club.
