Jazz flugelhornist and trumpeter Chuck Mangione has died. He was 84 years old. Mangione passed away in his sleep on Tuesday at his home in Rochester, New York. Mangione released 30 albums and won 2 Grammy Awards. His biggest hit was 1978’s “Feel So Good.” He became a pop culture icon by appearing in a Memorex audio tape commercial with Ella Fitzgerald, where they broke a glass with their music. Mangione was introduced to a new generation when he portrayed himself as an animated character on King of the Hill.
Hulk Hogan has passed away. He was 71. TMZ reports that paramedics were dispatched to Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida, on Thursday morning. Operators stated that cardiac arrest was the issue. WWE issued a statement saying, “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.”
GloRilla was arrested on Tuesday on two felony drug possession charges. TMZ said Glo was hemmed up in Georgia for possession of a scheduled controlled substance and possession of marijuana over one ounce. GloRilla was taken into custody by Forsyth County officials. She was released on $22,000 bond later that day. E! News is ending. The show will run new episodes until September 25th on E! The program has run for 32 years, aside from a two-year hiatus from 2020 until 2022. The decision was made because E! feels that the late-night entertainment news program no longer serves the audience. E! will continue to provide red-carpet coverage of award shows.
Post Malone has won a key decision in his custody battle with Jamie Park, as she filed to dismiss their child custody case in Los Angeles. Malone and Park will now have to go before a Utah judge for their child custody case to be heard. Malone initially filed for custody of their daughter in Utah first, where they shared equal parenting time. Park moved to California in 2025 after parting ways with Malone, petitioning for primary physical custody and joint legal custody.
