Ricky Gervais is leading a crowd of feral cats in a new adult animated series “Alley Cats” for Netflix. Launching next year, the 6-episode series follows the trials and tribulations of a group of feral British cats who seek companionship while ruminating about the struggles of everyday life. The show is “packed with Gervais’ signature style of heart and social commentary,” according to Netflix.

Twisted Sister has announced they’ll reunite for a 50th anniversary tour in 2026, but without longtime bassist Mark Mendoza. No details so far about tour dates or cities. It’ll be the group’s first tour since 2016, when wrapped their “farewell” tour.

The Grand Ole Opry revealed that Mumford & Sons have been added to the star-studded lineup for the Grand Ole Opry’s Live in London 2025 show at Royal Albert Hall on September 26. The announcement came during NBC’s special, “Downton Abbey Celebrates The Grand Finale”, which aired Wednesday to promote the franchise’s final film. They met on set in 2015, with romance rumors beginning the following year.
Amazon has put Season 2 of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” on hold with no new timeline set. The indefinite delay follows plans to cast Mark Eydelshteyn and Sophie Thatcher in the lead roles. They were set to replace Donald Glover and Maya Erskine, who starred in Season 1. Production was originally scheduled to begin this fall. Amazon representatives declined to comment on the delay.
