Woody, Buzz, and the Toy Story gang are back in the first teaser trailer for “Toy Story 5,” the 5th film in Pixar‘s iconic series, set to release June 19. Netflix has announced that Idris Elba will reprise his role as detective John Luther in a new film. It will pick up after the events of 2023’s “Luther: The Fallen Son”, which was a continuation of the popular BBC drama series “Luther”. The new film will see Idris reunite with longtime co-stars Dermot Crowley and Ruth Wilson.

Shaggy and Sean Paul will headline the Jamaica Strong benefit concert on December 12 at New York’s UBS Arena, in support of hurricane relief efforts for Jamaica following the damage caused by Hurricane Melissa at the end of October. Akon was arrested in Georgia on a bench warrant linked to a suspended license case. The incident began in September when officers found a Tesla Cybertruck stopped in the road. Akon was behind the wheel and told them the vehicle’s battery had died. While waiting for a tow truck, officers learned his license had been suspended for failing to appear in court in 2023.

FX has confirmed a second season of “Alien: Earth”, with production scheduled to start in London in 2026. Set before the 1979 “Alien” film, the series follows a Weyland-Yutani ship that crashes on Earth, carrying a xenomorph and four other specimens.
