AMC is creating a television series based on the 1991 film “Point Break” that starred Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reeves, Lori Petty, and Gary Busey. The original movie followed rookie FBI agent Johnny Utah infiltrating the Ex-Presidents, a bank-robbing surf gang. Set 35 years after the film’s events, the new series centers on a dangerous heist crew connected to the Ex-Presidents gang.
George Clooney says he won’t do any more romantic scenes, telling the Daily Mail that he decided to stop “kissing girls” in movies. “I’ve been trying to go the route Paul Newman did — ‘Okay, well, I’m not kissing a girl anymore,’” he said. “When I turned 60, I had a conversation with my wife.
