Kate Middleton and Prince William are continuing a holiday season tradition with the reveal of their family Christmas card photo. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 43, starred in their annual Christmas card with Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7. They revealed the photo, which was taken in April 2025 by Josh Shinner, on the royal couple’s social media accounts.
“A Different World” original cast members Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Cree Summer, and Darryl M. Bell will reprise their roles in a Netflix sequel series, marking a significant reunion for fans of the original show. Filming for the series is slated to take place in Atlanta from February 5 to April 27, although a release date has yet to be announced.
Annie Lennox has recorded a new version of “The Skye Boat Song” for the eighth and final season of the Starz series “Outlander”, set to premiere on March 6. The song is based on a 19th-century Scottish folk tune and has been the opening theme for “Outlander” since its debut in 2014, featuring different artists and arrangements each season.
The Muppets are back in the new year. Disney+ and ABC have set the premiere for “The Muppet Show”, a TV event special that comes from Seth Rogen featuring guest star Sabrina Carpenter. The Muppet Show will air on the linear network and streaming service on February 4.
“The End of an Era” is ending a bit sooner than expected. Disney+ will drop the final 2 episodes of the Taylor Swift docuseries early, ahead of Christmas. While teasing Episodes 3 & 4, which drop today, the streamer announced, “As an early gift to fans…the final 2 episodes will premiere early on December 23 at 12am.”
Ed Sheeran tops Billboard’s list of most-successful pop tours for the year ending September 30. Playing stadiums in Asia and Europe, his tour sold 1.9 million tickets and grossed nearly $215 million. It’s his 4th time earning the accolade. Lady Gaga‘s “Mayhem Ball” tour was #2, grossing $166 million, and Dua Lipa‘s “Radical Optimism” tour was third, taking in just over $141 million.
Billy Joel is currently recovering from the neurological condition normal pressure hydrocephalus, but his longtime road band is hitting the stage March 12 for an all-star show at New York’s Carnegie Hall. They’ll perform his classics with guest vocalists Rob Thomas, Alexa Ray Joel, Pat Monahan, Gavin DeGraw, and more.

Kelly Clarkson has announced new dates for her Las Vegas residency, “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions,” scheduled for August 2026 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Craig Melvin will make his debut as co-host of NBC’s 137th Rose Parade broadcast, joining Al Roker and Hoda Kotb. The live telecast airs January 1 in Pasadena, California. It will also be NBC’s 99th year covering the event, which began on radio in 1927 and moved to television in 1954.
Alejandro Iñárritu’s upcoming film “Digger”, starring Tom Cruise, will open on October 2. Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment revealed the title, first poster, and teaser, describing it as “a comedy of catastrophic proportions.” Tom plays Digger Rockwell, “the most powerful man in the world,” who races to prove he can save humanity from a disaster he caused.
Chris Evans will return as Steve Rogers in “Avengers: Doomsday”, confirming his comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The news follows a leaked teaser for the 2026 film, originally meant to premiere with “Avatar: Fire and Ash”.
