The adorable “Puppy Bowl” is coming back. The original and longest running call-to-adoption TV event returns for its 22nd year on Super Bowl Sunday, February 8. It will simulcast across Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, HBO Max, and Discovery+. This year’s 3-hour spectacular includes a record-breaking 150 dogs from 72 shelters across the US and the British Virgin Islands.
A brand new “Jackass” movie will be released in theaters on June 26. Johnny Knoxville teased the wide release in a vague Instagram post, saying the franchise will return to cinemas in the summer, but did not explicitly mention that it is, indeed, “Jackass 5”, and not a rerelease of a past project.

A children’s book inspired by David Bowie’s life and career will be released September 1. “Starman: The Cosmic Voyage of David Bowie”, by Matthew Cordell, imagines Bowie as a real spaceman. It is described as “the galactic journey of Bowie’s life, with stops for each phase of his ever-transforming career.”
Luke Combs and new album “The Way I Am” will arrive March 20, the day before he kicks off his 2026 world tour. A news release says the 22-song collection dives into “the challenges of balancing family and career, self-doubt and self-belief and the clarity that comes from focusing on what truly matters.”

The Heritage of London Trust acquired 4 Plaistow Grove in Bromley, where David Bowie lived from ages 8 to 20 between 1955 and 1967. The modest southeast London home will be restored to its early 1960s appearance and open to visitors in late 2027. Geoffrey Marsh, who co-curated the acclaimed David Bowie Is exhibition, will oversee restoration using a never-before-seen archive.

New video games based on the “Saw” and “John Wick” franchises are in development. Lionsgate chair Adam Fogelson said more projects would be announced soon, possibly including “Twilight”, “The Hunger Games”, “American Psycho”, and “Blair Witch”. The last “Saw” game, “Saw 2: Flesh and Blood”, was released in 2010, while “John Wick Hex” launched in 2019.
