Elton John is saying farewell, again. While he wrapped his final tour, the “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, in 2023, he never brought it to Mexico. Now, he’s scheduled to perform in Mexico City for 2 shows, October 2 and 3, at Estadio Banorte. The shows are billed as “Elton’s farewell to Mexico”.

 

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab has announced plans for a multiyear reissue series of the group Rush’s catalog. It’ll be the first-ever audiophile upgrade of Rush’s albums, with all of them being reissued on the Super Audio CD format. The series will launch this summer with upgrades of 1975’s “Fly By Night” and 1977’s “A Farewell to Kings”.

Paramount and Activision are developing a live action “Call Of Duty” film set in the franchise’s “Modern Warfare” universe. Director and co-writer Peter Berg confirmed the adaptation will focus on the series’ most popular storyline. Taylor Sheridan, creator of “Lioness”, “Landman” and “Yellowstone”, is co-writing the script.

 

A Bronx resident was arrested after crashing his car into the security gate at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s $26 million East Hampton mansion. Keith Webster faces charges after he drove his Subaru through the closed gate last Wednesday. Police say Webster “seemed confused” and made no threats. The incident may involve a health issue but remains under investigation.
