She said, “No one’s reached out to me.” The reboot is set to air in the 2026-2027 broadcast season on Fox. Five years is a long time to wait for a ‘Spider-Man’ movie. That’s about to change with “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”, which marks Tom Holland’s 4th solo outing as ‘Peter Parker’, and his first since “No Way Home’ in 2021. The Marvel blockbuster lands in theaters on Friday, but critics have already had their first look during the world premiere in Los Angeles. Early reactions praise the film’s action sequences and Holland’s performance, with several calling it his best Spider-Man movie to date.

 

“Michael”, the musical biopic that follows Michael Jackson’s career, will begin streaming on Starz on August 10. Released on April 24, “Michael” grossed more than $1 billion worldwide, making it one of the biggest hits of 2026. Critic Owen Gleiberman praised Jaafar Jackson’s performance in the film, saying Micheal’s nephew “nails the look, the voice, the…moves, and…the mixture of delicacy and steel that made Michael who he was.”

The AHA recommends performing chest compressions at a rate of 100 to 120 per minute.

Comedian John Mulaney announced Tuesday he will kick off 2027 with nine consecutive shows across nine iconic New York City venues. Dubbed “Mulaney Takes Manhattan,” the run begins January 7 and wraps January 15. Harlan Coben’s “I Will Find You” has become Netflix’s tenth most-popular English-language TV series of all time, with 101.9 million views in just six weeks. The show surpassed the previous No. 10 holder, “His & Hers”, with 98.2 million views. Netflix measures all-time rankings over each title’s first 91 days, meaning “I Will Find You” still has over a month to climb further.

 

Sony Pictures will release “Jumanji: Open World” on December 25. The film reunites the core cast of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, reprising their roles as video game avatars, alongside returning characters played by Nick Jonas and Danny DeVito. The premise of “Open World” involves the game’s heroes breaking free from the console and entering the real world, echoing the storyline from the original 1995 film, which starred Robin Williams.
