The “Emmys” last night celebrated the best in television . . . and in TRUMP-BASHING. There was a lot of it. It started with host STEPHEN COLBERT’s opening musical number and monologue . . .
Which included an actual, live appearance by former White House Press Secretary SEAN SPICER. He rolled out with his podium to tell us this would be the most-watched “Emmy” broadcast, PERIOD.

Shailene Woodley wants everybody to know that she doesn’t watch TV — because she reads books! The 25-year-old actress made the announcement on the red carpet at Sunday night’s Emmys, where she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for her work on HBO’s Big Little Lies. She said, “All my friends who watch TV, I always ask them when they have time to,” she continued saying, “When do people have time to? I’m a reader, so I always read a book.” Viewers quickly took to social media to make fun of Shailene for her comments. “Shailene is the Girl You Wish You Hadn’t Started a Conversation With at a Party in real life,” one wrote. Another joked, “Shailene Woodley says on the red carpet she doesn’t have a TV; she watches her shows by gazing in a drop of morning dew on a forest fern.”
Adam Levine is thinking about alternating seasons on The Voice so that he is able to spend more time with his family. He thought he would never miss a season of The Voice, but with his second baby on the way, he’s thinking he might need the extra family time.
Amid reports that ABC is having trouble finding judges besides Katy Perry for its reboot of American Idol, Rihanna was asked by Extra whether she’d be interested in joining the show. She said, “Uhhh… I don’t know. It depends on how bored I am.” Rihanna’s response is especially stinging, given that Katy has said that Rihanna and Tim McGraw would be her dream co-stars to have on the show.

Kevin Hart has spent the last few months blowing off cheating allegations . . . but on Saturday he posted a video apologizing to his wife and kids for, “a bad error in judgment.”
Not because his conscience got the better of him, but because there’s video of that “bad error in judgment,” and someone was trying to extort him. My source tells me the demand got up to EIGHT FIGURES, so Kevin decided to come clean and go to the cops.
The video in question doesn’t actually show Kevin cheating. According to sources who’ve seen it, there are several clips. One shows Kevin getting cozy with a woman in a club. Then it cuts to a bed. You hear some CREAKING, but you don’t see the people on it. Another clip shows a naked person in the room who COULD be Kevin. There’s no actual sex, though.
In Kevin’s apology video he says, “At the end of the day, man, I just simply gotta do better. But I am not going to allow a person to make financial gains off of my mistakes.”
According to my source, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian have settled their disputes. Not surprisingly, Rob let his money do the talking: He allegedly upped his child-support offer from $10,000 to $20,000 a month in exchange for Chyna agreeing to drop her domestic violence allegations. Rob also receives a bit more than 50 percent custody of 10-month-old Dream as part of the arrangement, and will cover all of Chyna’s legal bills.
