On yesterday’s episode of Ellen, Megan Mullally revealed that she had no idea that Ellen DeGeneres was gay when they first became friends. The Will and Grace star recalled that the two used to be neighbors and that she thought all of the talk show host’s girlfriends were actually just roommates. “I lived like a block and a half away, and I would walk over, and you had a roommate, and I remember thinking, ‘Well that’s nice. Ellen has this lovely roommate named, you know, Janet, or something,” she recalled. “I was like, ‘Well isn’t that nice, they really seem like they get along great! And they had a dog and I was like, ‘Whose dog is it?’ And they were like, ‘It’s just our dog.’ And I was like, ‘Well isn’t that caring and sharing!'” Mullally continued, “And then as the years went on, you had a lot of really lovely roommates, and I was like, ‘Well Ellen just gets along so well with people, people are just drawn to her like a magnet.'” An incredulous Ellen replied, “Are you serious? You didn’t know I was gay?” Mullally confirmed that she used to be very naive.
On today’s episode of Megyn Kelly TODAY, actress Nicole Eggert will discuss her allegations against her former Charles in Charge co-star Scott Baio. Nicole recently wrote on Twitter that Scott repeatedly molested her between the ages of 14 and 17. Scott denied the claims over the weekend and said the two had a consensual relationship when Nicole was 18. He also declared his innocence in a 16-minute plus Facebook Live video.
Kim Kardashian is being accused of cultural appropriation after she shared an Instagram photo of herself with corn rows and captioned it “Bo Derek braids”–a nod to the actress’ iconic look in the movie 10. Critics quickly began calling her a culture vulture. Interestingly, the only criticism that seemed to upset Kim was from Lindsay Lohan, who commented on the photo, “I’m confused.” The reality star snapped back, “You know what’s confusing… your sudden foreign accent.”
Cardi B tells Zendaya in an interview for CR Fashion Book that she was happier before “Bodak Yellow” made her a household name. She said, “Even though I’m happy, I feel like I was a little bit happier two or three years ago when I had less money,” Cardi, who is 25 continued saying, “I had less people who had opinions about my life. I felt like my life was mine. Now I feel like I don’t even own my life. I feel like the world owns me.” On the plus side, she adds, “My family, whatever they want, they get. Everything that I want to buy, I can get. I don’t have to worry so much about my future.”
Alessia Cara has responded to haters who don’t think she deserved to win the Grammy for Best New Artist on Sunday night. Alessia wrote a long note on Instagram. Here it is: “I didn’t log onto Grammy.com and submit myself. That’s not how it works. I didn’t ask to be submitted either because there are other artists that deserve the acknowledgment. But I was nominated and won and I am not going to be upset about something I’ve wanted since I was kid, not to mention have worked really hard for.”

She also wants to include some jokes…apparently. Harry and Meghan will marry in front of about 800 guests at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Actress Sharon Stone is taking a measured approach to how we deal with these sexual misconduct allegations saying, In a frank interview Sharon said, “In every crime there are misdemeanours and felonies, and I think if someone’s committed a misdemeanour they can’t be treated like they’ve committed a felony. You can’t charge someone for murder when they’ve got a parking ticket.” Her comments echo those of Matt Damon, who was criticized by #MeToo campaigners for saying there is a ‘difference between patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation.’
