John McCrae’s Relay for Life will be hosted overnight from 7pm on May 26th, 2017 to 7am on May 27 at the Ben Franklin SuperDome. Relay for Life is an annual fundraising event for the Canadian Cancer Society. Every year students from JMSS gather together at the Ben Franklin SuperDome to celebrate the survivors and pay tribute to our lost loved ones. The event brings our school community closer together as we all have been affected by cancer in one way or another. John McCrae’s Relay for Life has raised $300 000 since the beginning and this year we are aiming to raise another $50 000 as a school! Once again the Ben Franklin SuperDome has been generous enough to provide us with the SuperDome overnight for free, especially considering the costly repairs and reinflation that had to be done this Spring. John McCrae students are proud to take part in Relay every year and help fight back against cancer!
