The nominees for the 94th Annual Academy Awards are out. “The Power of the Dog” earned 12 nominations. “Dune”, the sci-fi epic, earned 10 nods, while “Belfast” and “West Side Story” both got 7. And as producer of “West Side Story”, Steven Spielberg has set a new record, having now produced 11 films nominated for best picture. The Oscars will air live on ABC on March 27.
The new Kardashians reality series has a premiere date. Hulu has announced that the original series “The Kardashians” will make its debut Apr. 14. Hulu is the new home for the clan of reality stars, whose E! series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” wrapped in June 2021.

The Who are hitting the road for a two-leg North American tour called “The Who Hits Back!”. The spring leg begins in Ft Lauderdale, FL on April 22, and runs through May 29 in Bethel, NY. The fall leg starts Oct. 2 in Toronto, ON and finishes up November 4 and 5 in Las Vegas.
Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley will co-headline Nashville’s NHL Stadium Series Game. Taking place on February 26 at Nissan Stadium, the performance will be an homage to Music City and the neon lights of Broadway. The 2022 NHL Stadium Series game will feature the Nashville Predators squaring off against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Peloton just fired 2,800 employees. That’s about 20 percent of their workforce. As a going-away present, the fitness company gave the terminated workers a free Peloton membership for a year. Just so you know, the free year was a part of each employee’s severance package. In a press release, Peloton said the subscription was in addition to a “meaningful cash severance allotment.”

Joe Alwyn made it clear during a CTAM presentation about his upcoming Hulu series “Conversations With Friends” that Taylor Swift is the only girl for him. He was discussing his character Nick Conway’s open relationship at the February 8th event when he added “I think people can do what they want and makes them happy. I’m obviously happy in a monogamous relationship.” The 30-year-old has been with Taylor since 2016.
ABC is exploring a spinoff of the fan favorite “The Rookie” starring Nathan Fillion. The potential new series will star Niecy Nash in a role with the FBI. A two-episode arc is planned for the current season of “The Rookie”, which will introduce the spinoff.
