Jake Gyllenhaal will star in a remake of “Road House”, which is being produced to stream on Amazon Prime. The original came out in 1989 . . . and starred Patrick Swayze as a bouncer, who has to clean up a rowdy bar.
Selena Gomez is producing a reboot of the ’80s comedy, “Working Girl”. The original came out in 1988, and starred Melanie Griffith, Sigourney Weaver, Joan Cusack, and Harrison Ford.
If you haven’t heard, there’s a new “Exorcist” TRILOGY in the works, and Ann Dowd has just joined the cast. You might know her from “The Leftovers” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”. The rest of the cast includes: Leslie Odom Jr. and Ellen Burstyn, who’s revisiting her role as Chris MacNeil. The first movie is supposed to hit theaters in October of NEXT year.
Chris Rock is coming out with an animated version of his show “Everybody Hates Chris”. It’s called “Everybody Still Hates Chris” and it’ll be on Paramount+ and Comedy Central. There isn’t a release date yet.

On Monday, Kylee Yoshikawa posted a video to TikTok showing Jason Momoa wheeling a cart down the aisle of a plane and handing out water to passengers. The “Aquaman” actor was handing out what seemed to be bottles of Mananalu water, which is his own company, on a Hawaiian Airlines flight. He also had a pink flower tucked behind his left ear, which social media users say means he’s taken.
At the Los Angeles premiere of “Bullet Train”, Brad Pitt commented on the brown linen skirt he wore to the film’s premiere in Berlin last month. When asked why he chose the garment, Brad told Variety, “I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up.”
“Batgirl” will not be making it to theaters or HBO Max, even though the film is in the final stages of post-production. This may be due to Warner Bros. cutting back on films premiering on the streaming platform. The film stars Leslie Grace, Brendan Frasier, and Michael Keaton.
