U2 announced that they are heading to Vegas for a residency at the new, state-of-the-art MSG Sphere at The Venetian. Sadly, drummer Larry Mullen won’t be in Vegas with U2 due to issues with his neck and elbows.

The most-watched Super Bowl ad on YouTube on Sunday was Melissa McCarthy’s Booking.com spot, in which she is whisked away on a whirlwind musical tour of gorgeous vacation getaways. John Travolta’s T-Mobile ad, crooning a riff on ‘Summer Nights’ alongside Zach Braff and Donald Faison, was #2.

RiRi’s Halftime performance bought in 118.7 million viewers during the broadcast, earning her the status of the most-watched Super Bowl Halftime show since Katy Perry’s Halftime Show in 2015. She is also the second most watched Super Bowl Halftime performance on record. Immediately after her 13-minute set, Rih’s concurrent listeners on Apple Music spiked by a whopping 331%.

Barney the dinosaur is the next ‘90s icon to get a reboot. Mattel announced on Monday that an animated series will be released in 2024, along with a line of consumer products for those under the age of six. The company added, “Apparel and accessories for adult fans, featuring classic Barney, are also in development.”
