Britney Spears is setting the record straight after reports came out claiming she enlisted Charli XCX and Julia Michaels for her new album. “Just so we’re clear, most of the news is trash!” she began in a candid Instagram post. “They keep saying I’m turning to random people to do a new album … I will never return to the music industry.” She continued, “I’ve written over 20 songs for other people the past two years !!! I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way.”
Taylor Swift is expected to attend the Golden Globes on Sunday, but her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, won’t be with her despite being in Los Angeles at the same time. Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, will be in LA to face the Chargers at SoFi Stadium. The game aires on CBS before the Globes. Sources told Page Six that Travis is busy gearing up for the NFL playoffs season and not the red carpet. There will also be no swanky after-parties with Taylor either. Travis is scheduled to fly back to KC with his team right after the game.
