Jennifer Lopez quietly renamed her tour from “This Is Me . . . Now” to “This Is Me . . . Live, The Greatest Hits”. It was probably due to weak ticket sales, since she recently canceled seven tour stops.
Catherine O’Hara and Kathryn Hahn have joined a new comedy series from Seth Rogen titled “The Studio”. The pair will appear alongside Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders in the show, which is, a parody of “a legacy Hollywood movie studio trying to survive in a world where it is increasingly difficult for art and commerce to live together.” It will come to Apple TV+.
Felicity Huffman has been cast as a ghost from the past in season 2 of “Criminal Minds: Evolution” on Paramount+. The actress will guest star as ‘Dr. Jill Gideon’, a biological psychiatrist who also happens to be the ex-wife of Mandy Patinkin’s ‘Jason Gideon’ from the early years of “Criminal Minds”. “Criminal Minds: Evolution” is a continuation of the CBS series that ran from 2005-2020.
A new Billboard article makes the argument that we many never see new music from Rihanna. “Rather than continuing to hope for a new album …it would be easier to accept that it might never materialize. Although she’s never officially announced her retirement, her career moves over the last few years have strongly suggested that no new music is on the horizon.”

ABC has renewed ‘9-1-1’ for an eighth season, following the successful Season 7 premiere which drew around 11.8 million viewers. The Ryan Murphy creation is a first responder drama, airing on ABC after moving from Fox.

The 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards is set to take place on January 5, 2025, on CBS and Paramount+. This marks the beginning of a new five-year deal to broadcast the show on CBS. Noms will be announced December 9.
