Netflix added a massive 9.33 million paid subscribers in Q1 2024, far surpassing analysts’ estimates of 3.93 million. It now has a total of 269.60 million subscribers globally. Netflix will stop releasing subscriber stats next year.

Dua Lipa’s latest single ‘Illusion’ was inspired by her dating life at the time. In a video, she said that the song idea came from a chat she had with her songwriting partner when she “was in…the milkshake of singledom.” She feels that the “crazy rollercoaster” of her experiences makes for “really good writing.”
