Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold their recorded music catalog to Warner Music Group in a deal worth more than $300 million. Five years after the group sold its publishing rights for $150 million, they’ve unloaded their recorded output –13 studio albums in total – in a deal that was completed last Friday.

Media mogul Byron Allen will purchase BuzzFeed for $120 million, taking a 52 percent majority stake and becoming CEO. Current CEO Jonah Peretti will step down to focus on AI development. Amazon has officially renewed its comedy series “Jury Duty” for a third season, as announced by Prime Video’s head of global TV, Peter Friedlander, during the company’s upfront presentation on Monday. The series, which first premiered in 2023, features unsuspecting participants in staged scenarios, with the first season focusing on a fake jury trial and the second season, titled “Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat”, set in a corporate environment at a hot sauce company.
