Singer-songwriter and Stella Lefty’s train is leaving Boston for a 2027 North America tour in support of her debut album, “Long Way Home”. The trek will begin in Detroit, MI, on January 9. A few days later, she’ll head north to play two Canadian shows at Toronto’s History on January 12 and Montreal’s MTELUS on January 15 before continuing the rest of the tour stateside.

 

“Coyote vs. Acme,” a film featuring Wile E. Coyote, is set to premiere in theaters on August 28, after being shelved by Warner Bros. in 2023 for a $30 million tax write-off. The plot centers on Wile E. Coyote seeking legal action against the Acme Corporation for its faulty products. After being dropped by Warner Bros., Ketchup Entertainment acquired “Coyote vs. Acme” for a reported $50 million.

Scientists at Chicago’s Field Museum have named a newly identified, non-venomous ground snake from New Guinea “Lielaphis slashi”, in honour of Slash from Guns N’ Roses. The roughly 71-centimetre reddish-brown reptile is now unofficially known as Slash’s ground snake. The Field Museum describes Slash as a “lifelong reptile lover and an avid supporter of zoos and museums.”
